Flood Relief Campaign 2025 by Gohar Zaman Foundation
In response to the devastating floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Gohar Zaman Foundation (GZF) established an emergency helpdesk in August 2025 at its office to coordinate relief efforts for affected communities. The helpdesk served as a central hub for receiving, sorting, and distributing essential aid, including food supplies, medicines, clothing, shoes, and other critical disaster relief items. A call for support was extended to the community.
Volunteers from GZF worked tirelessly to categorize donated items by type, gender, and size. The GZF teams delivered relief packages to flood-affected families in Buner, Swabi, and Bajaur. In Bajaur alone, 110 families received ration packages, providing immediate sustenance and support during a critical time. In Buner, 2000 clothing, 1800 shoes, 20 tents, 10 coffins and 50 families kitchen utensils were distributed. Moreover, Swabi affectees requested for kitchen utensils and about 100 families were accommodated. This rapid, structured, and compassionate response underscores GZF’s commitment to standing with communities in crisis, leveraging collective action to alleviate suffering and restore hope amid disaster.
