The goal of the Gohar Zaman Foundation (GZF) is based upon the vision of Mr. Gohar Zaman (1938 – 2023), a founder and pioneer in imparting quality education in the private sector Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the 1980s. His four institutions currently enrolled about 7000 students and produced alumni of almost more than 30 thousands as doctors, engineers, teachers, administrators and philanthropists. He is known for introducing a pedagogy of care, love and compassion in his institutions. This is reflected in financing hundreds of students of the marginalized class. His institutions entered into the area of public welfare when under his vision they helped out people in distress, during natural disasters, earthquake at Balakot, devastating flood in Swat and in the crises of Covid, as part and parcel of his life. The Gohar Zaman Foundation is a step forward in the direction of Gohar Zaman’s dream of a society that grounded in global values of equality, nondiscrimination, friendly climate, population control, refugee’s issues, and rule of law, quality education, skills development and advocacy for access to quality education, healthcare, economic Growth and sustainability, focus the vulnerable and Underserved Communities establishing of a society, stands on these values and building partnership with others.
GZF focuses on sustainable, vulnerable, and underserved communities when developing, implementing, and evaluating initiatives to enhance global opportunities in education, health, and economic growth.
